Does anyone here have this mod on their truck. I have been trying to decide for a long time now if i should get this or the K&N. I was just wondering if the ennessey was worth the extra money. The thing that i really like about the Hennessey is ther stainless tube, which K&N doesn't have.

I had one on my truck. Doubt it did anything.

this is a topic thats been covered a lot. Some see little to no differance with a cold air intake. The factory intake system is pretty good, many people have gone with a Drop in K&N factory filter and had good gains.

Your call..

Depends on your future modding goals I guess...staying N/A...or forced induction....

When the trucks first came out all we had were drop in in's.

Then JH, K&N ...ect...ect...ect began producing the cold air kits.

I would say JH's has the best bling

Most or all of them produce little or no gains over a performance drop in filter

Good luck on the mod. :D

I alway's wondered, which one would attract more heat to the tube?

I don't know that any one of them is going to be better or worse with respect to heat.

I gave mine anyway as I did not think it was right to sell it to a fellow member for even $1.00...........

I would have taken it as a decorative accessory to my blown motor/10 cylinder indoor plant holder.

If you take the plastic cover off the grill, it "might" do something.
