beer, new factory gaskets, beer, maybe locking header bolts, beer, a day off work, a buddy or two to help fetch and drink more beer...that ought to do it I think... :D

A starter heat shield (thermotec) from someplace like jegs would be cheap insurance. ROKT had to get his starter replaced.

No headers don't void your warranty. The belangers come with bolts and gaskets. You might want to spray them with copper coat and def use anitseize on the bolts.

FWIW, I don't have a heat shield and have had no related issues with my starter yet. :cool:

WillI did although the cats were glowing white hot two weeks before that and the starter started going bad then.I couldn`t prove it though and bought a starter from my Chrysler parts source for $150.00 including Next Day Air.My car sponsor put it on for nothring .Took like 15 min.

I did buy one of the starter blanket wraps from Jegs just to be safe.Figured for $24.95 it wasn`t a bad deal.
