Gotta do some things to the SRT-10..... I'd like to get a polished gas cap... viper emblems on them..... get a soft top for the back (as I will be using the bed for things... it still IS a truck) change the grill up to be all black like the hood insert, and the lower insert.... etc.

Awesome driveway picture, but the Sonoma and the 4-Runner look kind of wimpy next to your Mopar Muscle. They must be the red headed step children in your family. Last in line for a wash and no mods.

Twin inboard 454s but shes close to 18,000lbs with 258 gallons of gas and water etc. So about 34 knots tops. plus at that speed shes about 35 gallons of gas an hour. Makes you not worry about the truck so much ;)

Ohio has the same laws when it comes to NFA weapons as PA.

Perfectly legal - just have to get the proper local CLEO signature before sending the paper work off to the ATF and FBI for complete back-ground checks and tranfer.

Restriced states are: NY/NJ/HI/WA/CA/KS/ME/IL/DC/RI

The machineguns are about of much as a c-magnet as the SRT-10.

Not a bad investment either, they do about 10-12% a year and you can take them out and play with them while they go up in value.

They're like land - only so much/many. The only ones available to civilians are the ones that were registered with Treasury/ATF between 1934 and 1986. All others are available only to LE or the military. Unregistered machineguns in the hands of civilians are considered contraband and is punishable with a $100K fine and 10-years in a federal lock-up.

The FBI/ATF takes this very seriously.

Just curious if you know the laws in GA? I have a CCW which is simple but I suspect autos are illegal to own here...

Check here: http://www.autoweapons.com/pagelinks/statelist.html

I may have missed some restricted states in my list. Also, some states only allow "curio & relic" machines guns - think of these as WW-I/ganster-era/WW-II type weapons.

Alaska laws are very lax... You can own just about anything up here. Just have to have a Class 3 permit per weapon. I am trying to find an MP-5 at a reasonable price??? :D

Registered MP-5's are going for between $12K and $15K these days depending on type - sear-gun/registered-receiver/registered-swing-down.

They're still the Cadillac of the sub-machineguns available to the public.

Of course, I realize that there are many collectable weapons that are not NFA (machineguns).

Are you a SOT (i.e. a dealer that can acquire pre/post-sample machineguns).

Pre-samples are foreign-made machineguns brought into the US before 1968 and are only available to NFA-dealers (03/SOT). No new foreign made machine guns were allowed into the US after 1968 due to the 1968 Gun-Owner's Act brought about because of the Kennedy/King assassinations.

Post samples are machineguns made after 1986 and are available to dealers only as demonstration weapons and are never really owned by them.

All of the P90's are post-samples and can only be acquired by dealer's for demo-ing to LE and can be purchased by LE or military, but never owned legally by civilians.

Their are very few transferrable FN-249/SAW's and they go for at least $125K. FN-240's are even higher.

FN also now holds the M16 contract for the military and these weapons aren't even registered by the ATF. When the military is done with them, they usually give them to some third-world country to eventually use them to bite the US in the ass.

Older model FN's (FN-FNC and FN-FAL) are fairly common and go for about $9K-$13K and are all semi-auto's that were converted and registered before the May 19, 1986 cut-off.

The altered Belvedere is my brother's car. Mine is the one next to it in the fourth picture. We haven't had the altered car down the track yet because of rear end problems. It only wanted to go left under power - not good for drag racing. We have that fixed now and will get some time slips soon. It has a Hilborn injected 528 hemi and should run in the mid to low 10s. We're not going to campaign it but may participate in a few nostalgia meets.

WOW what a setup. Funny how much i jones for a good work building now. Would you beleive the property I just bought has a building just like yours on it. Probably a hair smaller like 120' X 60'. It already has a lift in there. compressors, paint shed. AND THE COUNTY SAYS IT HAS TO COME DOWN!

Something about it getting rezoned when i bought it...I'm so pissed.

God bless local gov't

That's criminal! Do you have any recourse? Appeals? Can you declare it an historic building? What a waste and a shame.
