i have lost like 7 to 8 centimeters in total diameter. the direct consequence is RPMS going up faster.

Pics of my sony upgrade ....... dam it was a hard day of work. We removed both infiniti amps and put a mono Rockford Fosgate (now it is the sub that is too weak), reused stock speakers but with new wiring (that was the dificult part).

As for the pics of the view, the island u can see far right is MOOREA.

How did you overcome the brake issue? I thought that was our big problem...brakes got in the way.

The lowest you can can go without modifying barkes is 18''. That's what i am runnin'. It fits just right. and beleive me, traction is great.

Sorry Pat, i forgot to mention, i only changed rear wheels. 18'' is good for rear only.

Do you only run those at the track? Are they street legal (or legal enough to get you there and back)? I see you have your jack nearby!!! Thanks for the pics!

10 years ago who would have thougth that 18 inch wheels would look small? ;) I remember when 16 inchers came out and they were expensive as hell. Damn I'm old.

Be sure to let us know what difference they make in your times.

No Kiddin'! Is there a 22" slick made? Would it perform better or worse than a 18"? I saw mentioned being able to achieve higher rpm's with the 18".

It's my understanding that you want a taller side wall for the wrinkle effect!

Thanks for the photos T, Now go get that El camino!!!

Budy i think U missread it, U will not achieve Higher Rpm's, Rpm's will climb faster though.

Wrinkle walls are not good for 5000 pound trucks. We need a stiffsidewall slick. Taller is good with the correct gearing.......Jack

Well DUPA, unless becoming president of Tahiti, you won't be makin much money here. The fact is life is so expensive : $150 for a SRT10 full tank.
That is why i bought it in the US. If i had to buy it here, it would have cost me around $100.000, no kidin'.
Just come by for vacation, i would prefer Hawaii for a living. TOOOOO small here.

Sure, but don't stay in the island of Tahiti (it is the industrial and technological capital ....... not much to see), just spend your time in the neigbour island like BoraBora, Rangiroa, or Marlon Brando's Tetiaroa.
