Can someone explain the advantage of these Long tube headers? It looks like there is three tubes collecting into one, and two tube collecting into one, and ultimately those single tubes collecting together!!

Kinda looks like 4 into one would be a smoother flow??

Well yeah, but...there's 5 cylinders per header, not 4. 4 into 1 would only work if we had V-8's; unless I am misunderstanding you post (which is entirely possible).

It just seems that if all the tubes were the same length and they all exhaust into one big collector it would be the same??

That last post should have read 5 into one!! Sorry!!

The headers look real nice womsterr. I am looking into getting a set for my QC but am having difficulty finding availablity for it, only regular cabs.
I would like to know if the check engine light problem is with all other headers? What kind of HP gains are we talking about?

The Balangers are not just 5-2-1 pipes but also have flow shapers inside. They seem to generate more torque on stock motors. I had them on my Viper when I went from bolt ons to heads/cam. I swapped to 5-1 merge collector headers and made more power.

SWFL - no problem on availability for QCs. The headers ARE different for RCs and QCs. The motor sets in there at a different angle from each bike.

The benefit for these are one things guys. FLOW. The collectors have a flow tuner in there too the creates vacuum and accelerates the gas scavenging. I SHOULD have some DYNO nums shortly. But anyone who follows the Viper market knows - Bellangers are the shiznit.

Potentially but if you have a good relationship with your tech it shouldn't matter. I'd ask ahead...

I have a baseline dyno on my 10, (only mod at the time was K&N CAI) soon as I get the Belangers with high flow cats, (ordered from Tom C.) I will get the install done and new dyno#'s then. Should be soon, and I have a shop already lined up to help me bang out the install.
