I'm willing to bet my left nut that those guys are between the ages of 18 and 25. Seems as we get older we tend to realize that we are not immortal and no longer do those types of things, although I'm sure the majority of us can look back on at least one experience and think, damn, I'm lucky to survived that one. I know I had a couple of those experiences.

Better yet, we also tend to realize as we get older that OTHERS are not immune to our stupidity - read NO ONE SHOULD EVER DIE FOR OUR GOOD TIME. Often, we now have children of our own on that highway who may end up the victim of one of their inevitably stupid mistakes.

People around here who have the stupidity to do that strangely find some little brass ball has taken out their side window, or a bottle oddly flies from nowhere into their windshield. We aren't too congenial anymore after two college girls were killed when an idiot wannabe-racer broadsided their car at 75mph one night last fall.

And three other students were killed when racing each other and one of the cars ended up wedged under a tractor trailer (one was a 14 year old girl). I had the rotten luck of seeing that first hand before the police/medic even got on the scene - one of the most horrible things I've ever seen. It peeled half the roof back before the car got stuck.

Keep it on the track folks, and we'll all enjoy it more...

(Sorry to preach, but this hits way too close to home for me. I'm not at all impressed by that sort of thing anymore.)

Would agree...on the 18-25. There are too many undeterministic variables when traveling down a freeway with that many people on the road. At that speed you are gambling big time.

Now I have been known to drive on the fast side but not on crowded freeways. Have more than one "lucky to have survived" storys ;) and only drive fast now in calculated risk scenarios :D Of course thats just about every day

Worst part is, they'll probably catch one of us up in their BS - like the SRT-10 Quad-cab dude in these forums who posted his pics of the three baby seats in back, when they are fully loaded.

I don't think that is the Autobahn, Its my understanding that if you are not traveling at least 100 mph you are to stay to the right and Ive heard that pretty much everyone sticks to those rules. Thes guys are just complete idiots and they will pay one day, problemis they will take some innocent people with them!!

Idiots are everywhere, but there is no excuse for endangering inocent folks ! The clip is a scary reminder of younger days. [I'am 57] at least back then there was open spaces and the only one in danger was yourself & maybe some other moron with you!

Unfortunately this is all to real for us in So. Cal.[hi desert area] this is what the I-15 is like headed for Vegas, especially weekends. Just seen to many wrecks i guess. [i'll leave out the gory details]

We lived 4 generations in the same house [have new one now]. i've seen it all. once the city folk top the Cajon summit they think it's wide open spaces. THERE ARE NO OPEN SPACES LEFT! please slow down just a little? I am guilty of heavyfootitis like every one else, but not at others expense. I have been to 135 approching 140 in the truck. This was done @ a friends Private Road on his ranch[no inocent folks there]. There ought to be a law, but i guess we have enough already. Please keep it safe out there. J&D
