Just some Yellow Fever PicsDenOfThievz 04-13-2005, 02:40 PM Until I get a decent digital camera to take pics of my own, here are some others I found while browsing about the internet... DenOfThievz 04-13-2005, 02:43 PM Oh yeah, they are all Quad Cabs. DenOfThievz 04-13-2005, 02:46 PM ...Cuz that's what I have. DenOfThievz 04-13-2005, 02:49 PM All right?! Coach 04-13-2005, 08:06 PM Do you like your new truck? I couldn't tell from all the pictures. ;) Don't worry, we all feel the same way. They still look good no matter how many times you see it. Mod free for life. Better not hang out here too much! They can convince you your truck needs all kinds of things. Just a little bling here and there. Then a little performance mod. Then the bank account is on zero before too long. :D DenOfThievz 04-14-2005, 04:16 AM Here's my progression of autos - you'll get an idea of just how much I must like this truck: 71 Maverick 6cyl, 70 F100 pickup (302), 69 Chevy panel van (inline 6), 75? Gremlin (6cyl), 80? Chevette (4cyl), 8? Plymouth Acclaim (4cyl), 8? Plymouth Duster (v6), 93 Plymouth Voyager (v6), and then the 01 Dodge Dakota (v8) I traded in on the SRT-10. The reason I'll never Mod the SRT-10 is I was also a restoration parts broker for the Mopar muscle cars, and a huge fan of them 64-74 classics. It was always a real heart-breaker to find those cars altered, not to mention how much it took away from their value. I had a few "keepers" which never got put right - 74 'Cuda 360 4-speed, 71 GTX 440 auto. Sold them when I moved south. I parted out some really rare cars that were totally rotted by the northeast salt and snow - 69 Coronet R/T, 70 Charger R/T, 69 383 Superbee w/dual-scoop Ram Air, 70 Challenger 340 auto, 68 & 69 383 4-speed Road Runner - 69 had functional hood and original oval "Coyote Duster" air cleaner. All these had severe frame rot and/or severe damage. This is what I did as a sideline business. I was a vendor at Chryslers@Carlisle and Mopar Atlantic Nationals. Dayton_SRTQUAD 04-14-2005, 06:49 AM Dear DenofThievz: Nice truck....it looks just like mine. I have your trucks younger brother, # 326 of 500. I did choose to mod mine a bit becuase I really like the sound and a little more umph never hurt either; I will keep all the stock parts though. Enjoy (as if there were an option). Mike DenOfThievz 04-14-2005, 07:52 AM Yeah, I really like the sound of that Magnaflow system. I might be persuaded if I can easily put the old system back on. Same with the cold air system - had one of those on my Dakota and was able to easily swap back to the original at trade-in time. Nice truck you got there! ;) Dayton_SRTQUAD 04-14-2005, 08:04 AM Yeah, I really like the sound of that Magnaflow system. I might be persuaded if I can easily put the old system back on. Nice truck you got there! ;) As far as installing (or unistalling) the Maganaflow, it is pretty straight forward and simple. I'm a fairly novice wrencher and it took me about two hours and I didn't even have to jack up the truck. I just removed the spare tire to have a little more working room around the rear of the truck. Everything is bolt on, just spray some lube on the rubber mounts to make it easier to remove and replace. As far as cost, Womsterr has pretty low prices, I believe he's around $450 plus shipping. Nice truck, right back at ya! Take care, Mike Coach 04-14-2005, 09:42 AM Yeah, I really like the sound of that Magnaflow system. I might be persuaded if I can easily put the old system back on.
