The stripes were done by a friend here locally. They removed the hood and stripped the black. Then they repainted the hood Solar Yellow. Next, they took all pieces that the could apart so they could wrap the stripes. Once done, they reinstalled all parts. They did a fabulous job. I paid $1,000.

It was Boomer's lowering kit. Works and looks great.

I live in Waterville and just picked up a new RC and been looking around to have someone do some white strips on my Red SRT-10. How much does your friend usually charge for such a job? I've been also thinking about installing a lowering kit, but not too sure about the roads here in Maine. Have you had any problems with bottoming out? Did this mod make a different in handling? Thanks!
