When i got my trunk i went for my first ride, and noticed that it really didnt
have much power at all i was very disipointed. I poped the hood and noticed
that the accelerater cable was below the bracket so you only could have
half the pedal, i but the cable up and over the bracket and then went for a
ride, it was great. Do they do that for shipping or was my just by accident.
Also i had mine for 4 days put 80 miles on it and now i have a check eng light
on. I havent beat on it yet so it cant be from me. Any one else got and check
eng lights on or anything else.

Thanks Josh

mine was the gas cap, you have to be sure to get it on tight, it even has this message on a sticker by the filler.
it will set off a code.
put some gas in it, tighten the cap a few clicks then
disconnect the neg battery cable, and reconnect and it should clear. if it comes back on, well, better see dealer.

somewhere in here is how to find out the code and a link to where to find oud what that code means

look around this site and you will find more info

That throttle cable is easy to bump out of the bracket. Happened to me once. I was relieved to find that it was such an easy fix. Haven't had a check engine light yet at 5,600 miles.

Turn your key to the on position three times in a row to read the code in your odometor. You then can look up the code online via a google seach for dodge engine codes. Most likely its a gas cap error.

I found out that it is a bad crank and cam sensor
but they couldnt do anything because they are not a viper dealer,
so i will have to take some time off work to get it fixed
