Ok guys. Need some assistance in deciding on my next mod; a tonneau cover for the SRT. Been leaning towards the Snugllid. I would like the cover to be completely flat and not overhang the rails like some do. I don't think there is a snuglid like that. I want it to be hinged... I don't like the sliding or roll back variety. I also want to maintain the factory spoiler and attach it to the cover. Those with experience with this let me know please. I also want it to come prefinished so I could just slap it on in the driveway. Any info on price, ease of installation or otherwise helpful info is appreciated. PICTURES IF YOU'VE GOT THEM TOO!!! ;)

a few guys have the checkmate. looks great. very smooth and flat. I have one that sits over the rail not bad looking. With the checkmate, you have to remove the wing to open the cover, only drawback I see.

I think the LT xTreme flat Tonneau Cover is the best looking I have seen so far. I'm going to call them and see if there were any mods done to the wing when they installed theirs. If not, then that is the one I'm going to buy. I think it looks even better than the factory one.

I emailed them a similiar question. They said that I would have to drill into the tonneau cover and install the wing. I was hoping they would sell one that was predrilled since they show our truck on their site and say it will fit our truck. I agree that it is the best looking cover. Let me know what you find out.

I called them as well. I think if enough of us show interest they will pre-drill the holes. My only question is that they told me that their cover is sized to fit the quad-cab and that it will also fit the regular cab because the two beds are the same size. Is this true?

I went with the Sprint Flush Mount from Sport Truck Solutions.

http://www.calconcepts.com/SolidBedCovers/FlushMount/flushmount.html

It comes un-painted and the wing maintains its factory mount. Has carpet lining underneath to match a BedRug. The cover WILL NOT open because of the wing, but the tailgate will so I'll have a big trunk!! I only need to haul golf clubs, cooler etc. No furniture or refridgs!!! Should be here in 2 weeks.

How much dust/dirt collects on the inside of the bed? I am looking at this exact cover....

Thanks!!

Maybe one of our great forum vendors could do so and arrange for a group buy. That would be perfect. Tom or Kevin are you listening???? ;)

I´ve got my QC delivered from the dealer with a LoRider Tonneau cover as a standard. I recommend all of you to stay away from covers like that because the inner gasket ( do you say gasket or seal, i am not sure ) collects the debris and dust from the road and works like sandpaper on the paint.   Right now I am working on a construction to eliminate that and improve the performance of the truck by loosing weight of the cover. But if you want your trucks to be kept immaculate, stay away from constructions like that.

Kevin - The guy told me that it is completly sealed and everything is below the top of the bed rail. I've been looking for a while (someone else here has one) and I really like the flush look. I was hung up on being able to open a cover normally with the wing mounted on top but, the retro-fit seems to be pain in ass. This cover is going to work for me.....

The LT Xtreme Flat tonneau answeres all of your concerns. The folks at LT were predrilling the holes and found that the bolt patterns would vary up to 1/4 of an inch on the spoiler. No big deal to drill and fill, huh? I've ordered mine and it should be arriving any day now. From what I've seen, it fits the bill! Check it out on line! Try Lazer Lite or LT Xtreme Flat tonneau, that should get you to the site.
