Rear License Plate Frames?

Anybody got a good one? Have any connections to get something made for our trucks? Ideas?

Right now I just have my plate mounted and nothing else - looks kinda lonely back there. :(

Corvettes for Lunch"

What do you think about that?

guys tell me what is you want, and i can do custom plate frames for you guys. they would be $55 bucks each, hopefully we can settle on a couple of common themes, but if a guy wants something unique i will do it. we have a complete cnc shop here, & i have recently started doing some stuff for our trucks & vipers, i will post pics today-boomer :D

Maybe something that says 'RAM SRT-10' at the top, and 'Viper Powered' at the bottom.

Black Frame with the lettering in Red?

Or maybe a chrome frame to match the existing lettering on the truck, with the writing in red/black?

Yeah, I could handle this if it said Viper Powered - possibly painted the same way on the hood? A polished or Chrome frame would be cool.

I don't want "Viper" anything on mine. I want SRT-10 Ram or probably one from John Hennessey.

I taped off the edge of the plate. About 1/4" and Sprayed on some black bed liner. Looks very good. I am not going to buy a frame now. Looks too good on a Black SRT10. I need to do something with the Screw though.

That looks great....you did a good job. You could get some of those security screws that mgw sells. They look great, at least I think so and nobody can steal your plates!!

You could get some of those security screws that mgw sells. They look great, at least I think so and nobody can steal your plates!!

I wouldn't go that far. I'm positive I could get the security screws off, and I'm not a Thief!
They just make it a bit more difficult to steal the plates. ;)

Well of course they arent foolproof, but some dough**** punk thief in a parking lot probably doesnt have the proper tools where as he might carry a flathead screwdriver. I thought of them as peace of mind for $15. Hopefully ;)

Ah yes the notorious dough**** is the same as a f-stick (insert missing letters). Or a FS for short while in public around kids, you get the idea. I would define it as someone whom is quite dumb, inbred, lazy or any combination of the above. We all get the pleasure of bumping into these people at times in our lives. :eek: ;) LOL Look at all this good info you are now learning on our srt10forum!!! :D

Hey Boomer, CnC machine...cool! Can you make some volume knob billets for us SRT owners...? I have some designs that I did in Solidworks (3-D program) and if we decide on one or two styles...the price could be fairly cheap...rather than $60.00...I will attempt to attach some designs here..
maybe in two attachment posts due to only 5 to each post allowed..
Look at them closely cuz ther are subtle changes to each design. I like the simpler ones, but chk it out.

Finally got my license plate. This was #3 on the list. Everything else seems to be taken. OH Well!!

On the note of the knobs.I just ordered the billet radio knob and A/C knobs from MGW. I talked to George and they fit the truck as well as the Viper SRT-10.

I have the MGW frame in black and no "Viper" on the bottom. They called me after ordering to see if I wanted it with or without the word Viper. It is a quality item and it looks great. I got the viper logo hitch plug (QC, of course) from them and it is great also.

I have the Porches for Breakfast, Ferraris for Lunch I pulled off my Viper which is a little overkill for my truck. How about Lightnings for Breakfast, Rice for Lunch. That ought to fire up some folks.

Count me in for whatever you come up with. Also, I suggest something a little more formal than the plastic ones the Viper Club sells.

I'd love to get a plate frame, but here in the Common Wealth of Virginia, we are required to have front and rear plates. I guess I could get away with only a nice rear frame. My wife did order me one of the plates from ebay. Should be here in a few days. I'll let you all know how it looks.
