I put this out for my Impala club.Thought maybe some of the local SRT guys would be interested.

This is the message I sent out to the OASISS ,SSOBAD and Indipala folks. If anyone from the Cincinnati area or points north want to meet up with us at Phieffer Road feel free.We can then caravan down to meet up in Florence .

The top NASCAR and IRL stars have driven it and now you can to drive it!

Please join us on Saturday, November 5 as we make our last cruise of the 2005 season. We will be heading to Kentucky Speedway in Sparta to partake in their "Drive The Track" sale. For those of you new to the club, during this sale, for each $40 you spend in the Gift Shop you will get a voucher to take laps around the track in your own vehicle. Drives last three laps and are paced by official vehicles.

The rules say 3 laps @ 65MPH behind the pace vehicle.

I have run 12-15 laps at 130+ behind the pace vehicle slingshotting from the top of turn 2.We know some of the people down there and they like us and our cars. That said ,it is really what the pace vehicle driver`s think about your ability. They don`t want someone who can`t drive well to screw up and wreck.

We will be meeting at I-71 South and Phieffer Road at the BP station at 10:30 AM.This will be the gathering spot for Cincinnati,Indianapolis ,Dayton and Columbus members.

We will then be caravaning to the I-75 South rest area between Florence and Richwood to meet up with the Northern Kentucky F-Body Association folks at 11:00 AM.

We'll give everyone time to meet and mingle and then we'll leave the rest area promptly at 11:30 AM. Bring your cameras and camcorders to capture all the great moments! We also recommend each car have a two-way radio if possible (tuned to channel 12, sub-channel 7).

After everyone has a chance to take their laps, we will reform the line and cruise back to NKY. For those of you that are caving in to hunger pains, we will break off at Mt Zion Road and grab some grub and share stories at Buffalo Bob's.
