With ROE RACING B&B long tubes headers, 3'' B&B off road pipes and a 3'' B&B catback plus and S&B airfilter!
AFR went from low 10's to high 12's with just adding those mods with no ECU upgrade so i wonder how much more will i gain with a flash or VEC2 ;)
RWHP is 495 STD :D
RWTQ is 540 STD :D

 Those are my #'s under/boost...anything under 4000/rpm's is in the 14's to 15's...and when you let off the WOT, she's in the 20's.
These new digital-gauges are cool ;)

I call bull****. Those are un-corrected #s at best.

67PLY 10-25-2005, 08:32 PM I'll have some numbers tomorrow, have a 9AM appointment on the dyno to see how much I got with the Mopar headers/ no cats. Last pull was with K&N cold air, Magnaflow cat-back.......449HP, 477TQ
Later,

AFR was low 10's before the mods and high 12's after

it sounds so much quiter in the cabin and its just perfect outside :)

i said STD #'s in my post and since im comparing STD's to STD's it doesnt matter cuz a 65RWHP gain is alot for full exhaust and a drop in S&B filter and still running stock ECU
    Ah, you lost me!

he's talking about his in car air/fuel ratio gauge readings

I still call bull**** on the 65hp. Post the dynosheet. There is no way in hell you got those gains from those mods. Mathmatically it doesn't work out.

Craig.... Dont ya think it MAY be possible since alot of that hp gain could be coming from just the "lean out" alone? I'm always curious though with the stock controller if it doesnt go away after a bit of driving..... usually they go through a relearning process and then adjust the fuel back to what it thinks it should be. At least with my corvette it sure did...... if you did this simple "zip-tie" mod on the air filter lid, it leaned out the fuel ratios for a little while, gave you a +20hp gain.... then adjusted back after some driving and your gains went down the toilet....... just a thought.

the lean out is one of the reasons and thats why i mentioned that in my first post going from low 10s to high 12s makes alot of power on an N/A engine and i drove the truck with those mods for around 300miles before i dyno

No dyno. No results :) Post it or shut it :)

67PLY 10-26-2005, 10:41 PM Went to the dyno today at RWTD ( Running With The Devil ) here in Mobile.
Last trip a couple of months ago with K&N cold air and Magnaflow cat-back, got a best of 449HP, 477TQ. Today with the addition of the Mopar headers, and no cats, after about 800 miles since install, got a best of
476HP, and 522TQ
So it looks like 27HP and 45 FT/LBS with Mopar headers and no cats.
I have the graphs below, one has comparison between old numbers and the new numbers, and a graph of max numbers and the best one if you want something to brag about, you show them the un-corrected numbers
496HP 543TQ.
Also notice that the A/F leaned out
Thanks to John at RWTD WWW.RWTD.COM
DAMN! files are too big!!!!!!!!!!! I'll try tomorrow to downsize them

The larger the # means 'less fuel'
The smaller the # means 'more fuel'
14.0-15.0 less fuel
10.0-12.0 more fuel...under boost

Good numbers :) did you by any chance have dyno numbers from stock ? and what was your AFR with the headers ?
67PLY 10-27-2005, 01:11 PM I'm hoping that this works and you can read the dyno graphs. I didn't get to dyno pure stock, last numbers were with K&N cold air and Magnaflow cat-back.
Later,
Great #'s :D ill have mine scanned and posted soon and i think my SAE HP was around 480 and the STD HP was around 495
nowwhat 10-30-2005, 08:19 PM Said it before...will say it again
Long tube headers = 8-10 hp
Cat Delete = 15 hp
Cat Back = 12 hp
CAI = 5-10 hp
Headers are a wire burning, gasket frying, bolt loosening waste of $2000.00......The stock manifolds on these trucks get the job done....
