Just got my truck back from Dave here in Sarasota..... he did ALOT of tuning for me and man what a difference! The A/F ratios now NEVER dip below 10.8 and stay nice and safe at 11.5 for the highs..... what we didnt realize was how much more timing could be added since the meth/injection... damn this thing pulls like a mother now.... the only problem is traction....traction....traction....... everything has to be done gingerly... roll on the throttle just right, or......... poof! your up in smoke and molten goo....... now even a second gear downshift at 60 can get ya sideways if your not careful.... scary stuff! I wish they would come out with some 22 dr's someday.... cause I cant stand the sight of our trucks on 18s.... and full time track duty is not what I'm about.... sooooooooo anybody got some ideas out there for me? I'm sure the kids in the new mustang were impressed when they coaxed me into a race and I pulled em pretty hard while still burning rubber.... (actually the look was priceless.... and later they were good sports and asked if I had some kind of quadruple turbos with a 600 shot...lol) but these tires arent gonna last..... any help would be greatly appreciated...... unless you tell me to pop in my "tired dog" card into the the vec2...... ;) :D

I've wondered the same. I'm not looking forward to it. Although I guess there is one way to help traction. Go ahead and keep your spare set in the back of your truck so you can change it on spot :)

According to tirerack.com they average $319, but may be able to find them cheaper.
