So what's my best bet want to just direct connect if possible and have full function of the iPod.

Give Ted Harris a call.... Tell him exactly what you have and what you want to do... He can give you the exact part numbers to get it done.... It should be a simple Plug-N-Play solution....

You can only use the Low Speed. The High Speed CanBan Buss is different.

The RB1 and RB4 are only for the 04/05 PCI Data Bus (Low Speed)

The REC or the even better RER (Migig) will work with the CAN Data Bus (High Speed) as noted above

Does anyone have a picture of the back side of a RB4? I want to see what the plug layout is but don't want to have to pull mine if I don't have to.
