It sure is!! When I ran 13.2 last year, that was close enough to 12 to smell it. I think this year of leaving the tailgate on, but down to add a tad more weight to the back of the truck for traction. Good idea, bad idea? Take off the spare? Good for weight? Bad for traction?

Challengerfest is being held earlier in the year, so the temps should be a little cooler. Last year it was in the high 70s and 80s at the track. If I get a run in early in the day, and it's in the 60s, that should help some. I also got a couple stronger tunes from Torrie. I'm going to put in two cans of Torco to get the octane up around 105 and run another 4 degrees of timing. That MAY just do it...

Jeez....I'm stuck on a freakin rock with a closed down track. I'd have to pay several hundreds of dollars to barge my truck to another island and hope the track doesn't get rained out or they aren't doing some damn import night shootout. Can't wait to get to the eastcoast. I'm forcasting a mid 12 run...

@HawaiianViper, I heard the Track is opening this week, don't know how true that is but it may be worth checking into.

Chris...just rumors..they've only got the sand drags on Oahu..no way my truck would ever go in a sand drag.

Anyhow my truck is down right now. Oil lines are pissing, ps lines pissing again, have to replace upper control arms, lower ball joints, rear rotors & pads, spark plugs, and brake lines, and need an oil catch can.

So I've received my spark plugs, rear rotors & pads, waiting on the upper control arms, lower ball joints to come in from rock auto. I placed an order with Tony for the polyeurythane control arm bushings, black steel braided oil lines, new ps pressure fittings, new steel braided brake lines, and the oil catch can.

Then she'll be back up and running!

Wish you luck with that long list but I know once it's all done you'll be good as new or better. I bought my ball joints off eBay for $110 including shipping to HI which are the same as the ram 1500 just b/c the rubber boot is torn. Tony noticed a small leak in my oil lines as well and install his upgraded version along with mobile 15/50 and brother I've been holding at 100% pressure ever since. The catch can I got from JBM and it wasn't much more than the joints. Hope you get her back on the road soon.

I got a pretty good deal from Rock Auto. I got the Moog upper control arms complete, and Moog lower ball joints for a couple hundred.
