Default Standard 6 CD stereo problem

Gents:
Immediately after installing my new PCM flash upgrade from B & G, I turn on my stereo and it sounds like the CD's are having a wrestling match in there. After the noise stops, I try to scroll through my modes to CD's, but it doesn't come up; only AM & FM. I trying powering up and down several times and same wrestling match inside. Since I can't select CD; I can't eject any of them either. Question #1; can this be related to the PCM flash from B & G or is this coincidental? Question #2; does anyone know a possible fix or do I just need to take it to the dealer?

Thanks,

Mike

This is not my area of expertise, but you might want to try disconnecting your battery again, waiting 30 minutes and reconnecting. It may reset something.

I know that's not much help, but the best I can do.

Good luck.

Doubt it has anything to do with the flash cause that exact thing happened to me and I dont have the flash. I took it in, dealer informed me the cd player was broken ( oh really!!) and ordered me a new one. A month later I got the new one installed. Still not have received my cds back from DC, but they did promise to return them...
