Well, per Jeff's original rules, a truck can only win TOTM once yearly. Are you suggesting we change that rule?

We're all good in here. I know better than to fight with anyone, especially Jeff! I've got no beef with Jeff, I'm sure he knows that.

I just want to do what's best for the forum. I'll give this a day or two to see where it goes, then propose some changes in a poll.

to be honest...for what totm HAS been here, to what it IS now...

i kinda agree with tony...i'd rather see a few of OUR trucks on a regular basis then a.) no truck at all, or, b.) a random truck...

we could always showcase them in a different light, so to speak, if a totm is won...it's the least you can do to go take a pic in a field once in a while, or behind a bi-lo...or in front of a coca-cola sign... the more i type that, the more i like the idea...

maybe the only "rule" is you can't win again unless it's been two months...

hell, i won over "there" which i never thought i would, but it was a random fling, and it was started by another member, and i didn't decline...i even said i'd take out the toolbox and install the wing for the front page photo if i won...not sure if the hood ornaments did it, or the fact that i said i'd take the toolbox out...or that we all just left another killer gtg and i was fresh on sanqueen's mind...but i won...ok, cool...it's a popularity contest...fine...but it's still a totm, regardless...

i would NEVER nominate myself, and i would NEVER vote for myself...my truck is used, but not used up, and compared to the other trucks on this and other forums, i haven't done anything to really spruce it up...where others take A LOT better care of theirs...not that i don't...but....you know....not that i don't really like mine...and i do take care of her...but she gets used EVERY day...so if it's about the individual's TRUCK, and not the individual...then there's plenty more to pick from...

just my .02...take it for what it's worth...i don't think it should die a slow death...i like it...i'm just lazy...and i have no reason to be...
