Thumbs up Clutch issue

I started my 2004 RC up the other morning and tried to put the truck in gear. The pedal went halfway to the floor and the clutch would not disengage. I drove me challenger SRT instead and that clutch worked fine. Anyway I did some reading on this forum since I have been a member for few years now. I knew my clutch and slave cylinder had been replaced just befor I bought the truck. Since then I have put four years and forty thousand miles on her for a total of sixty now. I tow cars, trailers my 19 foot boat, etc. So after the research on the forum I fully expected that I would need to pull the trans and replace the slave? I figured on a new clutch while I was in there too.
Then I saw the thread about the cap seal preventing the fluid from entering the system. I thought I may as we'll check it and sure enough it had fallen off and was plugging the bottom of the master cylinder. I had even tried to add fluid and the fluid was on top of the rubber seal instead of under it. I reinstalled the cap seal, added fluid, pumped the pedal to bleed the system. Good to go!
So this forum just saved me a lot of time and money! I don,t post much but I thought I would take the time to say thanks!

Arrow Clutch Update

Just thought I would update you on my 04 clutch issues. By the summertime of last year I was having to add clutch fluid about once a month so I knew the slave was leaking. In Novenber I jacked up the truck in my driveway and pulled the trans. I installed a new Centerforce clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, Viper slave with Viper spacer, clutch master.
This cured the clutch issues for about a year. By then the trans was getting difficult to put into gear while stopped, mostly first gear and reverse. It became so bad that sometimes I had to turn off the engine, put it in gear and then restart!
I pulled the trans again and took it to Doug Levine, a local Viper car specialist and all around good guy. He had it rebuilt and upgraded with brass instead of Teflon on the selectors. Trans shifts much better now!
Currently trying to replace 02 sensors, if I can get the right ones from Dodge! Trying to do the two upstream ones, but they gave me two left , short ones. One worked on the left front side, and they other did not work on the front right side, so back to the Dealer I go...

You can buy O2 sensors at your local NAPA etc. It is true the left and right front sensors are a different part number. The rears are the same part number.
