I have never tried that, I just shift somewhere around 5k and always scratch the tires!!!!!!! I would think you would hit the rpm limiter if you left your foot on the gas while hitting the clutch and shifting...

All gears are smooth for me except 2nd to 3rd under hard acceleration. This seems to be the problem spot. Theirs had been several threads on the 2nd to 3rd issue. Not to sure about the 1st to 2nd though might just be a learning curve. One thing I notice I was doing when I first got mine was not depressing the clutch pedal far enough. I used the electric pedal adjuster and moved them farther forward making it easier to 100% easier when ripping through the gears.

when I get it to go into second I shift around 5000 and it just kicks a little to the side. Seems alot faster the taking you foot off the gas

Ive found on the 2nd to 3rd shift if you keep your elbow out towards the passanger seat you are less likely to throw it into 5th or even reverse. No problem if you do that, there is a electronic shut out just incase!!!

When I tried using a piece of **** Spec clutch, mine wouldn't release from 1st under heavy acceleration. The clutch wasn't dissengaging enough. Sitting still with the clutch pedal pressed, the driveshaft would twitch when I moved the shifter from neutral to any gear. A weak or failing hydraulic system could do the same thing.

1st to 2nd is easy.

2nd to 3rd is the tough one.

Moving the pedals closer helps me to get the clutch pedal depressed far enough to 'power shift'. Once I mash the gas in first, it stays there until it's time to slow down. When I do it right, the engine only picks up about 100-200 rpm's between shifts. :D
