Too much Durango not enough Ram. Get the verticality (and brutality ) of the Ram grill and headlights. Get rid of the Durango's Escalde-like headlights and that sloped back grill.

What's with the front bumper? It appears to stick out.

To me, the Ram's got it all right, while I prefer the smaller profile and lower weight of a Dakota (but not this Dakota!).

This Dakota won't be much of a weight savings over a Ram anyway. Even with the 2004 Dakota compared to Ram of similar cab, the Dakota was about 600 pounds less, this new Dakota will cut that at least in half, maybe only saving 200 pounds! I also can't imagine much of a price savings either unless this Dakota is the same price as the old Dakota. There already isn't much of a price difference, maybe $3000 tops between similar Dakota's and Ram's now. Finally who knows if it will even get the Hemi... It will compare well to the new Chevy Colorado though which I'm sure is the target.
