It looks like Toyota is going to enter into the performance pickup market. Their 2005 Tacoma X-Runner or something like that comes with a V6 with 246 hp. I just wantched the video from the Toyota website and the president of Toyota said that the acceloromator *sp?* pegged out at .90g of acceleration and 0-60 in 7 seconds. With an optional TRD Superchargered packaged I believe called the Y-Runner is to boost the hp over 300 and they said 0-60 mph would be reduced to 6 seconds. As you can tell by the second picture the truck comes with a 6 speed manual. I like the shifter better due to the fact its more car like then the big long shifter of the SRT-10. But it should be interesting to see what kinda performance numbers the TRD kit makes

I also love the 0-60 in 7sec. LOL. REAL performance. well, ok, it's better than Chevys idea of a performance truck.
