Confusion and Clarification of 2010 LX & Beyond Nationals Entry Fees

There appears to be some new folks attending the LX & BEYOND NATIONALS this year that have not attended in the past and some confusion on the cost of attending the event. I also have received messages and emails from individuals which may be fueling the confusion for others.

Last year the LX & Beyond Nationals had only 2 entry options for participating in the event and nothing has changed for 2010. Those two entries are: Car Show Entry and Drag Racing Entry. Due to the confusion caused by naming one “Car Show” entry, effective immediately we will be updating the name to “Regular Entry” to clarify it for everyone.

If you wish to park with the group, the vendors and the event then you will be required to pay the Regular Entry or the Race Entry Fee. If you would rather park in the parking lot with Regular Joe and Jen Admission then you have the option to pay the $10 spectator fees instead. (Spectators are not eligible for prizes, raffle items or awards) This is the agreement that we have with QUAKER CITY RACEWAY and they will be enforcing it as such at the gate. Don't forget that if you pay the Race Fee you are eligible to participate in both Race and Show events.

I am aware there was some confusion at the gate last year, mostly due to the fact it was their first time hosting our event versus they regular events and that will not happen this year. If you arrive in an “LX & Beyond” vehicle you will be asked for the appropriate fee.

For those of you that do want to participate in the Car Show portion of the event the judging classes have been adjusted for 2010 and will be posted soon and because of the overwhelmingly positive response from everyone THE F4 CHALLENGE TEAM will be returning as the official judges. Each section where your cars will be parked have been divided into "zones" and will be judged at designated times so it will allow you to mingle throughout the event and come back when you know its judging time for your zone which should alleviate the need to stand by your car all day or miss the opportunity to talk to vendors or see some racing. If there are any additional questions or concerns please feel free to give me a call or send me an email.

Only a few more to go and there will be more Canadians than Ohioans.....what?!?

....what's up Ohio? You should easily be the largest group in attendance.

....looks like Indiana is making a run to overtake Ohio too with 6

.....so far Michigan and New York are battling for 4th place at 5 each

....where is Illinois, Pennsylvania and Kentucky? Only 1 each so far.

....happy to see our die-hard attendees from California, Arizona, Kansas and West Virginia


Its no surprise but Brilliant Black appears to be the #1 favorite among attendees.

....Inferno Red is making a respectable showing with 8 so far

....Bright Silver is not far behind with 6

....the high-impact colors (Hemi Orange, Plum Crazy, Sublime, Torred) are all battling for recognition in the middle of the pack, its too early to tell who will break away


The suprising statistics of the day:

....Chargers leading the way with 22

....Magnums are currently in 2nd place with 17, over the Challenger with only 11

....300/300C is at the back of the pack with only 3 and behind the Grand Cherokee with 5

....SRT10 Trucks are not being represented so far. Where ya at?


We are trying to get a head-count for additional items/happenings at the event this year. Everyone thinks you have to pay to register which is not true. Select "CHECK" and it advises that you can mail a check in or pay at the gate. We will plan based on what the registration shows, if folks don't register on the website I'm gonna say I told ya so. Let's show our friends from CHRYSLER that this is the event they want to continue attending every summer.

• Registration and check-in time is 8:30am-11:30am for carshow entries on Saturday, July 18th

Special Announcement: Music Video to be Filmed at 2010 LX & Beyond

I have been talking with Kacey Chrysler, a music producer, artist, radio show host and he provided the music featured in one of the new Chrysler 300C commercials. He invited me to talk on his radio show tonight about the 2010 LX & Beyond Nationals. (which will be available on iTunes for download soon!)

Now that the news is official I can let everybody know that Kacey Chrysler has confirmed that he will be shooting a music video at this year's LX & Beyond Nationals!!! Obviously his staff will be looking for some vehicles to feature in the forefront. So any mods you are working on you got 2 months to get everything looking sharp.

I told ya'll this year's LX & Beyond Nationals was gonna be fun!!! (Stop procrastinating and start planning)
