I spent quite a bit of time talking with the factory warranty rep and after some dancing arount the subject indicated it was 3/36 only, but that you could purchase the extended powertrain warranty for about $2400. Not what I wanted to here. Do you have other info?

warranty

hey gents- glad to be back on site, not so glad to be home,as kauai is always relaxing and gorgeous. anyway ,food for thought,as everything in this world is negotiable, i believe you are correct, the 7/70 is for sale but i was able to talk the finance manager down to 1900 from 2400 $ ,which helped a little not a lot. also all extended warranties can be bought at a later date.

What....................never seen anything out that says the warranty is any different than any other DC product. Heck Vipers have 7/70, so why wouldn't the truck. We do a wrap warranty on the truck and it has it listed , so I have no reason to believe it is any different.

called DC representative, he checked on it and called back "srt products are only covered by the 3- 36 warranty because of the performance engines, fall in the same catagory as mail trucks and other specialty vehicles" can this be right?

I have yet to purchase the extended warranty, but my dealer said it was in the $2,1xx neighborhood. I plan on buying it, but I'm going to attempt to 'work them' a little. Hell, at least an oil change or two.

Bill,
When I bought my truck, I asked about the warranty and they couldn't find anything that said the 7/70 didn't apply. But later,in a comunication with a SRT (PVO) guy, I was told it was 3/36.
