I have noticed several members have added air bags to their trucks. Air lift and Firestone both list bags for 2500 series trucks which I understand our frames to be. Both companies offer kits that require no drilling (they use the rubber jounce mounting holes). Does anyone have any experience with either one of these? When I hook up my boat the rear end lowers a little over 2 inches which is okay but I would feel better if the bags keeps the ride at the factory level .

I have a set off our 04 hemi QC that mounts to the frame and spring that I intend to use on our SRT QC. I visually inspected everything before we traded and couldn't see any difference. With our hemi we pulled our 24 ft trailor weighing about 7000lbs or so and it leveled it out nicely. I think the bags were about $300 or so, we didn't get the automatic leveler. Hope this helps. I can get the part # if you need it.

The part number would greatly appreciated. The firestone application for the 1/2 ton version uses a clamp around the frame so you don't have to drill the frame but I don't know if the frame on the srt-10 QC is the same size as the frame on a regular 1500 QC. The kit for the 2500 just uses the threaded holes for the rubber jounce bumpers but I don't know if the rear end housing on our trucks is the same for the 2500 (it makes a difference because of the u clamps supplied with each kit fit around the axle housing). Thanks for any help available. Company tech lines have not been any help.
