I thought that problem was only for the pre-500 ci engine, not the one in the Ram SRT. Am I missing something here?

I'm told the current wait is roughly 4-6 weeks per Todd (at Arrow), and that most of it is due to lunched G3 and truck motors (loose timing gear?).![]()
I feel like I'm coming in at the 11th hour. What's the issue/concern?9 seconds said:I'm not sure what that means or what we can do. I hope that it's just a handfull.
G(en)3 and truck motors with loose timing gears. There's been some mention of it here also.VIPERAM said:What's the issue/concern?![]()
Steve, my dealer called me today and said they had a recall on my SRT-10. Guess its valid.9 seconds said:If your VIN is within a certain range, you should be contacted by your dealer. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure I'm right. The Viper guys (on the VCA board, not me) usually find out things before most dealers. One of them posted this "Cars affected are those built from 9-15-03 through 1-30 04". My guess would be trucks fit that also.
I've heard that if you made it that many miles you are probably OK. So like you, I hope it's just a precaution for me (2000+ miles).pitrider said:mileage is 2500..maybe its just a precaution..
my truck was just built on 2/9/04 and my dealer said my vin was under the recall as well, this sucks. i only drive my baby on nice days & this is gonna kill me! plus now i gotta take off all of my cold air stuff. sucks.9 seconds said:Just found out I'm one of 11 from my dealership.
