Besides having an SRT, limited vehicle status, or the speed, what are some of the other benefits of owning an SRT. Example: When you buy an SVT you get a 1yr paid membership to SVTOA, you get free rental from Ford, you get inside news to SVT happenings, SVT meeting invitations, etc. Just curious while I wait for the insuarnce to send me my check

:D The privilage of being harrased on your own board by SVT owners..
If you buy one you should be getting it for the Fun, Potential, rarity of the truck, etc. Its not like opening a bank account for the free gifts IMO.

Especially since there aren't any. Righ now the Vipers have the VCA and the SRT-4's have a club. Both receive some support from Dodge but aren't sponsored by Dodge. Nothing going on right now with the Ram. There have only been rumors about Dodge sponsored SRT events.

I heard on the radio the other day that if you finance or lease a SVT product of the 2003-2004 model year you get first dib's on the next Cobra and Lightning since at about the time your lease or finance is up you'll be needing a new car/truck then

9 seconds,
Yes, it would be neat if Dodge would get behind the trucks a little and give us some support or give us some assistance in setting up a club! There are those who actually own all 3 SRT models and seem welcome at events. I know you've seen the discussion on the VCA board about Ram SRT-10's at VCA events. I guess you can at least use the Ram SRT-10 to tow your Viper to a VCA event and then leave it hooked to the trailer since that seems to be the only acceptable way for the truck to be in the vicinity.

yeah this isnt vegas... what do you want comps like free oil changes... what perks you get is shifting into 2nd

My Bud purchased a new Quad Cab HEMI 1500 about 3-4 months ago and got 15 free oil changes!! I would LOVE that with this truck! Hell, using what, 8-9 quarts of Mobil 1 (not even sure yet?), I'd love 5 oil changes.

Although, 2nd is pretty fun... :D :p

Talked to a local VCA Member and said they don't consider Ram srt-10's a true Viper, but I could be a associate Member and still go to the Events and meetings, so I think a new club should be formed (RVCA - Ram Viper Club of America, as an extension of VCA).

Being the new/other kids on your block, you have to prove there's enough intrest to be recognized. I could be wrong but I don't think SVT was as generous until they knew they had a profitable following, and the Ls still don't get as welcomed as the Cobras in some places.
IT SUCKs.

VCA responses

The reactions and responses from some of the VCA members are pretty damn entertaining -- it seems that perhaps we are witnessing the adult manifestations of being picked last for kickball too many times as a child...
