And I'm sure your an authority on whats worth the money. Enjoy your little car !!!
Personally, I Think The Truck Is A Good Deal, Considering The Viper Starts At $83,000, (i Believe). And Besides , The Cost Of Things And Ones Income Is All Relative.
Some area's great price, some area's high. Its all supply, and demand. I drive for dodge, and i have seen as low as 45k, and as high as 65k, on reserve. Great price, and will be even greater when there all sold, and no more in area.. Hold on to it for a year, then sell it. You may get alot more..
bbates,
You should make this it's own thread and include contact information and color.

Anyone know percentage wise how many of the cam bearings were loose?? Took mine in yesterday and just received call that mine was, will get it back tonight. Only had 36 miles on it so no big deal I guess... Just wondering

You mean can "bolts" right? FYI, there are no bearings. Mine were not loose but I have no data on how many were. It seems the numbers being checked by DC has grown. Some who were not included initially are getting notices.

HAD MINE DONE A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO, AND THEY WERE TIGHT. A GUY I KNOW IN PENSACOLA, FL. BOUGHT A RED SRT-10 AT THE SAME DEALER AS MYSELF, A COUPLE OF WEEKS BEFORE I GOT MINE, AND HE MADE IT TO JUST UNDER 800 MILES AND IT SHEARED THE CAM BOLTS. HE HAS BEEN WAITING FOR A NEW CRATE MOTOR FOR OVER A MONTH NOW.
I GUESS I WAS LUCKY, I HAD 950 MILES ON MINE WHEN IT WENT IN TO BE CHECKED.
my dealer checked vin. and said mine is in the clear, but just in case ,any feedback of signs to look for would b cool thanks

Your absolutely right, my dealer tells me the two he has done already were loose... Was supposed to get mine back last night, but some seal in the kit was crimped so they ordered anyone.... Now DON'T tell me there is no seal!!

THE SEAL IN QUESTION IS THE CRANKSHAFT SEAL IN THE TIMING COVER. THE FIRST TRUCK MY DEALER CHECKED WAS OK BUT THEY DID NOT REPLACE THE SEAL, NEEDLESS TO SAY, 2 DAYS LATER THE GUY WAS BACK FOR AN OIL LEAK. THEN TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, A COUPLE WEEKS LATER, THE HARMONIC BALANCER SPUN ON THE CRANK. TWO REASONS, ONE THE BALANCER ON HIS TRUCK WAS REMOVED AND INSTALLED TWICE, AND SECOND THE CRANKSHAFT HAS NO KEY TO LOCK THE BALANCER, IT IS PRESS FIT. THE ONLY FIX IF IT DOESN'T CHEW THE END OF THE CRANK, IS TO REPLACE THE BALANCER.
NEEDLESS TO SAY, I TOLD THE SERVICE MANAGER TO REPLACE ANY GASKET OR SEAL THAT SHOULD BE DONE, EVEN IF I HAD TO PAY FOR IT MYSELF
LATER,

Ed, where about in NH is this truck? I'm in MA and would be interested in looking at it.
No. Hampton, N.H. Best to call me on cell 603-502-9944 as posted.
Well, I may have to eat crow and little the little guy in the foreign car have it at MSRP (OVER MY DEAD BODY) However if someone really wants it for msrp I guess I would let it go, still has only 53 miles on it and the cam thing has been done... Don't even want to hear from the "little guy"
