Hey guys, since JDM is a big supporting vendor over at NLOC.net, this post was deleted while I was reading it. Luckily, I was able to save a copy of it.

Check out the post and beware of JDM. They will screw you too!

Good info.... Dont' believe I'll be dealing with JDM and a couple other vendors that's done the same to it's custmors... Maybe I should support a forum for this sort of thing... A place where you can get some history on vendors prior to doing bussiness with them.. Hmm it's an idea what do you guys think??

i had something like this happen to me here in the detroit area. i had a motor built for my 96 ram that has a paxton supercharger on it, by a company called powercurve, they were recamended by ramchargers auto parts. they completed the job in about 12 months time. the truck ran real good it dyno'd at 375 hp at the real wheels. everything went well for about 18000 miles, then when i was driving home from MIS about 100 miles from home the motor started to shake real bad for abou 1-2 seconds then BANG, one dead motor. when i took it apart i found the cam was not heat treated right, and the lobes gauled til 2 of the roller lifters blew apart which took out the rest of the motor. by that time powercurve was out of business. like that guy said buyer beware.

I guess I'm somewhat fortunate with my Syclone. I had it built at McCoy Motorsprots in Pikeville, Kentucky.---> www.ToBeFast.com Initially, I had them build me a crate motor and ship it to me. We installed it and it ran fine while I broke it in for the first 1,000 miles, but after that I started leaning on it, the bearings let go. Took the crank out as well. I called them up and we both decided the best thing to do was take my Sy to them. Dad and me put it on a trailer and towed it 600 miles to them. They removed the motor, identified the problem, fixed it, installed a few more go-fast parts since it was there :D , then we went and got it again. They stood by their work and didn't charge me to fix the motor. Now I've got over 1,000 miles of damn near abuse on it, and it runs perfect! Just what it was built to do! Oh, and it HAULS ASS too!!!
