I put my yellow top Optima battery in the SRT over the weekend, and the battery is loose. It is the size recommended by Optima's web site. I can't get it to tip over and I can't pull it out, but the battery can slide back and forth and rock side to side a little. Has anyone else noticed this?? No, I didn't forget to tighten down the hold-down bolt! I worry about increased vibration.
if you changing the battery. Use deep cycle batteries.
I am personally using them from 2 years and haven't encountered a single problem and very much satisfied from the performance.
check deep cycle battery pros it has a proper guide and number of options from which you can make a selection whichever suits you.
The small (probably smallest piece) behind back door (and low) drivers side is missing and looking for one to replace it. Preferably black to match but assume can get different color painted.
