You should always try to DIY first. Go on eBay and get the shop manual CD (mine was like $10 its in PDF format) and print off the pages that you need as you go. I did my own head gaskets that way. It seems scary but if you follow the steps then you can't screw it up. Unless you're using an impact gun on a 6mm bolt then you're going to screw things up. Invest in a torque wrench if you're worried about breaking bolts.
