:D :D :D My first MOPAR. :D :D :D

Only 120 miles on it so far, so I've been *trying* to restrain myself, but this thing is fun!

Congratulations, give us a full review/comparison sometime.
Thank You. This is a cool ride!

So far I have only 140 miles, but some things that are obvious to me are:

- Not only is the interior HUGE compared to the L (which IMO is a good thing), it's nicer. Seats are excellent, dashboard is set up very well, and the shifter is well placed too. It all looks real good too. The brushed aluminum trim is a nice touch.

- It drives very well. Smooth, solid, and rolls along without effort. Smooth around town too.

- Handling and braking are a wash with the L IMO. I've never been one to sling a vehicle through the twisties too much. Nor do I like to stand on my brakes. I'm the kind of driver that lays back from traffic and takes it easy on the brakes, as I want them to be there if I ever really need them. Regardless, both trucks handle and brake well, but obviously they are still trucks. Safe to say my Cobra R, with a ton less weight, would leave both in the dust through the turns. That's a different story though.

- What's left? Acceleration. :D With a simple air filter and a 3# boost pulley, my L went 13.2's at 103. It ran good. While I haven't tried launching the RAM yet, I can tell you 2nd and 3rd feel stronger than the L. This truck pulls like a freight train - Torque everywhere! If I can manage to launch it, and NOT miss a gear, my guess is it has to be quicker than my L. Honestly though, I need seat time to get used to it.

Washed it this morning. Brake dust is gonna be a b_tch for sure. Also it's a little harder to reach the roof without the step side body, but I'll deal with it. ;)

Congrats,it only gets better after break-in,truck is awesome..enjoy drive that *****..
Thanks pit! And yeah, it's gonna get driven every day back and forth to work, rain or shine. Not so sure about the snow yet though.

Putzin' around in it is also out of the question. If I'm getting 9mpg city and 15 highway, I plan to enjoy those miles (to an extent ;) ). Though, with gas at $2+/gallon, I'm kind of happy work is only 10 miles away! :D

congrats !! you will be constantly cleaning those wheels, but its worth it. I bought a Hurst T-Handle (3/8-16). lets you speed shift a lot easier. Enjoy. But a radar detector. Gives you a little more security. Have Fun !!!!
Thanks sautter! I'm now close to 300 miles, and admit, I have played a little bit. I was going to ask how many of you guys MISS 3rd gear? It seems like it'll take a little practice. 2nd is easy though. :D

For as BIG and heavy as it is, this freakin' thing does have some stones!
