Anyone have any electrical problems with their SRT-10 ? My problem started about a week ago the horn just went off for no reason. So I pulled the fues and thought the horn pad in the stering wheel must be bad. Couple if days later I can't start the truck, the batterys dead . So I bump start the truck and go to my local dodge dealer (not a five star dealer) and tell them the skinny... The say ok well check it out while you wait. Half an hour later my trucks done. They replaced the battery, said the battery had a dead cell in it. Ok, this made sence, so I went on my marry way. 4 days later my truck won't start So I call the dealer where I bought the truck and tell them of the issue (Bohnam Dodge) they schedule me an appointment. So sometime this Friday I'll have the rest of the story..

Gotta watch out for those service guys. They're REALLY SMART. Rather than find out why the battery was dead they jumped straight to, "Hey, your battery is dead!" See ya in a couple of days when it dies again. God I hate stupid people.

I'm a mechanic myself and I like stupid people. They keep us busy But I agree that the mechanic just assumed the battery was bad.

Let me rephrase that... I didn't mean to imply mechanics are dumb. I wish I could do half the things they are capable of doing to my truck. And now that I think about it, this guy wasn't dumb at all. He was just lazy.

That's alright, I wasn't offended. It only takes a few idiots to make the rest of us look bad. Anybody can become a mechanic at a dealership. I have worked with a few of "them".
