Hello guys,

I am new on this forum, and i am french.
So, please, if my my translation is not perfect, don't hesitate... tell me.

He is my question :

I would install a dual flamethrower kit on a 2006 dodge ram srt-10.

I bought a dual kit with HOT LICKS.

No problem about the exhaust coils, 10 inches before output exhaust.

But... how connect the flamethrower switch on engine coils ?
I can see 3 wires on first coil, and 4 wires on second coil.

The second point is not very important, but will help me when i will make the new exhaust line :
I have to remove all cats ?

Hope someone could help me.

Thank you.

Fred.

comment ca va, fred!

write your questions in french - i'll have my cousin translate it - that may help understand your questions better.

when you refer to coils, what do you mean?

do you have the link for the kit which you intend to purchase? that may also help us with your installation.

merci!

brown/white

Hello here.
I FOUND IT ! YEAHHHHH

It's the brown/white wire.

Bonjour VIPERHAULER,

And you have a photo to show me where are ignition coils ?

Thank you.

---------

Merci.

Hello guys,

I found where ignition coils are located.
Not easy !
They are under the intake manifold ! Stupid idea !
It's impossible to touch it.
Impossible to connect the brown/white wire on ignition coils.
Or i have to remove the intake manifold... lot of job just to connect a little wire.

May be someone know where i could find this brown/white wire an other place under the hood ?
A place with easier acces.

Thank you.

Merci

Check out the wiring harness where it exits the back of the intake manifold.

I will agree that under the intake is a stupid place to put the coils.

Also check out the msdperformance.com website. They have a few products that my help you hook that thing up.
Tach signal GMR pickup part#8918 we just used this to connect an Auto Meter tachometer to a 2015 H-D V-Rod with coil on plug ignition.
Also plug wire sync kit#7555
Good luck.

I try to find under the hood where is the "brown-white" wire.
I know now this wire is the +12v power for all engine coils.
But where it is ? I cannot find it.
I am nearly sure this wire come from the electronic box, passerger side.
There is 3 big connectors... the brown-white wire should be somewhere in one of theses 3 connectors.
Someone could help me with a picture or photo ?
Thank you.
