Hello, I'm Ipolo from France.

It's my first post on this forum but I've been looking daily at it almost since the beginning, which has revealed very usefull.

We newly own a 2004 black Ram SRT-10 imported from Quebec, and use it as a showcar for our french firm, specialised in the manufacturing and selling of several kinds of lubricants. Our firm is sponsor of the french team Larbre Competition and french pilot Christophe Bouchut who won the Team and Pilot Titles in FIA GT both in 2001 and 2002 on a Chrysler Viper GTS-R.

Actually, we also have a Viper GTS and the new Ram is aimed to tow it.

Hello MauiSRT/10,

I know that there are some clutch problems with the Ram, that's the reason why whe are soon gonna upgrade it with a reinforced AP Racing system.
The clutch fells a kinda weak anyway ...

Welcome to the board. Nice pic on the ram srt-10 do you have any more shots of the stripes ?? I am looking at putting stripes on mine also, not sure if I am going to go silver or red stripes on black...

The silver stripes painted on the RAM and on the Viper are a color from RENAULT (french car). The color changes from the side you look at it, a kink of given lustre to color.
This is due because when we bought the Viper in 2000 it was new but was sadly painted with pink stripes. That's why we had to repaint them totally at that time.

I notice that the door handles are painted...is that something that you did, or did you purchase them from a parts store?

Iahemiram> I did them all by myself. Drew the design on Illustrator and then gave it to the painter who worked for me.

Great looking truck, Ipolo! Your company obviously has good taste.

As far as towing, the trucks tow rating is "N/A", and DC says not to tow with it. But I think that the 'once-in-a-while to the show/race and back' that your company will be doing with the truck, you should be alright. Also, it's just the GTS and a fairly light trailer; not a 48' SeaRay on a trailer.

Some common sense regarding the clutch will go a long way.

I plan on towing my Syclone to the strip on occasion (3,500# Sy + 1,500# Trailer). I still need to get the hitch, and I also want the 456 gears before I do though. I figure the gears will make it that much easier on the clutch to get going.

Those stripes on the truck look awesome!!! I bet that truck turns some heads over there in France.....cant be much of them around there..

No, that's right. It's the only RAM SRT-10 I've seen in person for now. There aren't any much Vipers too (only saw one once in Deauville...).
People turn their head and often put thumbs up when they see pass either the Ram or the Viper ! The Viper is very very loud. The Ram doesn't make much noise (for the moment...).

The Viper Heads as the Texts "Official Pace Truck" are painted the same way as the stripes.

On the back of the truck I've painted the Logo "Viper Powered". Here it is (I've got only a poor shot for now) :
