Love the SRT Ram and will get one, but I test drove one and it doesn't approach the responsiveness of the Viper. How could it with an extra 1500 lbs. to lug around. I thought it was a fantastic truck though. I own an SRT10 Viper and the difference is quite evident.

Definately not a viper or a z06, but it is the fastest truck on the streets.

I'm sure your right, however, your either a truck lover or not and for truck lovers, its the hottest thing around !!!
Well said " your either a truck lover or ur not" ! as simple as that. I just rolled 600 miles on the odometer and this truck is just plain sick. I went ahead and changed the oil already, after break in, more so for peace of mind than anything. Black is tough to keep clean but when it is its gor.. think im going to paint door handles and side mirrors to completely black out mine soon and have been putting my friends on tilt in the passenger seat for a few days now. simply put-too much fun

SRT-10 RAM,is a truck..of course it does't have the feel of a viper..I personally look up to Viper owners as having the #1 american made performance car..so many people on the streets are in awe of the V10 viper motor...DC had the balls to put together an outstanding production performance truck featuring the viper powertrain..lets see if GM and Ford can catch up..

GMC set the standard, took Ford 8 years to catch up, and DC Finally jumped ahead and took the crown (IMO of course). I look forward to seeing what Ford has up their sleeves w/ the Gen3, and would love to see GM do something as well, because the Silverado SS and SSR AIN'T gonna cut it. :p
Guys, I wasn't in any way trying to cut the Ram. I thought it rode and handled fantastic for a truck. I absolutely loved the test ride. I was in awe.

This truck I drove was in the midst of maybe 20 Vipers and it appeared that most of the Viper owners weren't much impressed with the truck as I was. Maybe 5 or so liked it a lot, 5 some, but most appeared to take it or leave it. Just my impression. Doesn't matter to me. I couldn't believe my luck in the owner letting me give it a spin --- of course, with him in the passenger seat!
