These are our updated dyno numbers from this morning. The truck still has the stock computer program and no cats. I will try to post dyno sheets later on. At one point on the graph we are gaining 70+ rear wheel torque and 60+ rear wheel hp.

do you have a sound clip of it without the cats?
I will try to get a video clip with sound posted soon.

Here is the before and after dyno comparisson on rear wheel torque.

So what does the intake look like?
I want to polish the cold air intake before I post pics. Its probably very similar to 9-Second's kit. Its basicly a 4.5 in. 90 degree tube with a big K&N filter and simple mounting bracket.

I just drove the above described truck home. This is by far the most fun truck I've driven. It is a night and day difference between stock and now. IT IS A TOTAL BLAST! The sound is fantastic as its mellow at idle and cruise. Its agressive from inside the truck at wide open throttle. And outside the truck at wide open throttle its down right mean.

We will try to get to the track at some point soon and we will post the results after we do.

since you got rid of the cats, what did you do for the ecu to fool the O2 sensors?
No check engine lights so far. So no countermeasures have been required thus far. We have logged about 100 miles since the mods.
John - have you got a chance to re-program the PCM yet and if so, what kind of gains have you seen? The combo of your headers, catback, air intake, and a PCM re-program should yield some rather impressive gains. I would be very interested in a package consisting of the aforementioned mods. Are you looking to do any other bolt-ons such as a ported/polised throttle body, larger MAF, etc...?

Will aftermarket plug wires for a Viper fit properly on the Ram SRT-10?

Thanks in advance.

WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF DOING THIS NOW. WE WILL TAILOR OUR PROGRAM TO OPTOMIZE THE OTHER MODS.

THE TRUCK WITH 470+ RW HP IS A BLAST TO DRIVE. MORE POWER SHOULD BE MORE FUN.

SOUNDS GOOD. GO TO OUR WEBSITE AND GET ON THE ORDER LIST FOR OUR HEADERS. THE LIST IS UP TO 18 ORDERS RIGHT NOW.

WE WILL BE TESTING A BILLET THROTTLE BODY UPGRADE SOON. THERE IS NO MAF ON THE GEN 3 MOTOR. ROLLER ROCKERS ARE ALSO A WASTE OF TIME, FYI AS MOST AFTERMARKET ROCKERS ARE 1.7 AND THE STOCK GEN 3 RATIO IS 1.75.

Will aftermarket plug wires for a Viper fit properly on the Ram SRT-10?
WE ARE LOOKING INTO THIS. WIRES MAY LOOK COOL BUT OFFER NO PERFORMANCE GAIN. ALSO TO INSTALL NEW WIRES MAY REQUIRE THE REMOVAL OF THE INTAKE MANIFOLD.

THANKS FOR ASKING!
Hey John, how about a quick tease of what the intake looks like. Im dying to see it.

there is something WAY wrong with the stock run that is shown. either some one was sandbagging or that stock run isnt the same truck as the modded one. to only get 399hp run has retarded cam timing or someone was sandbagging. it would be way more eithical to not "stackup" your dyno runs to make your modds look better. Hennesy, you need to be a little more moral & honest in your business. you know what i mean without going into details
Boomer - you need to look at the dyno sheet again. The peak rwhp on the stock Ram SRT10 was 417 not 398. Look at the upper left corner of the dyno graph - that is where the peak numbers are listed.

You are just looking at one point on the graph where it compares 398 rw hp to 467 rw hp at 5000 rpm.

We dyno'd another bone stock Ram SRT10 a few days ago. With 3000 miles on the motor it made 428 rw hp. So that would seem to be more representative of what a broken-in motor makes for power.
John, all i want to know is, does it let fire blow out the exhaust like that Deficon car did at the supra meet two years ago, Man i could have cooked some hamburgers and hot dogs behind that sucker! :D
Nice job John :D Let's see those pics of the CAI. How much does the mod cost installed ie. Headders,Exhaust,CAI, re-programing ?
John,Care to comment on any of this unpleasentness?
