Electrical Blue 50
Flame Red 1048
Silver 710
Black 1278

Good deal Bill. Now how do we find out which # we are in the sequence?

That will be very difficult, as the sequence is not completely a Vin based system. I am hoping someone may be able to do something in the future, but since the program was not instituted in the beginning, it may be impossible to capture. This does dispel the myths that there were a ton of Silver trucks, as it is obvious this is the rare color of 04 ( other than the 50 VCA trucks ). There are actually about 5-7 Blue/White trucks running around with automatic trannies being used for Pace Vehicles ,but they will probably eventually be crushed and are not in the production mix.
OK.Can you say how you got those #`s? It seemed to be a big secret when I inquired with the SRT Public Relations guy.

I asked based on all your requests and was told they would do what they could. I do not know if anyone ever bothered to compile, but I know in the past it was a month or so after production ceased before we got Viper figures. At this point I am pleased they sent me info , understanding how much all of you were wondering, but I also know that often things that seem simple to us, are not readily available , as the importance may have not been seen. They know now that we want to know, they provided the info, and we should be glad - I know I am.
I just talked to Dan @ SRT.He is going to see what he can do on the plaques .

Your the man!!

Thanks Bill for the info. which give us some conclusion. I knew it had to be a pretty rare truck just the fact, that the Dunlop listed it before the production year was even done. I guess we can just drive them carefully and watch the price go up. Got to love it.
So in 20 years or so will I be able to sell it at a Barret Jackson Auction for a couple of hundred K or [email protected]#$%^&*( lol

I love watching that show with the crazy prices they are getting for muscle cars...

thanks for numbers Bill, glad I got the "rare" color!!!!! I told you I wanted silver man!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been hosed, downright bamboozeled!!!! There are like a thousand blackies out there....they're almost everywhere man!!!

Thanks mucho for the numbers Bill. From past experience, the sequence is available if someone will take the time to do it.
Hey Bill,
I'm not the sharpest tack in the box but I get 3086 total units not 3084.
I know minor details, but just we might as well get it right.

Bill,
I think the numbers for trucks with VIN's are more like

Daytona Blue 50
Flame Red 1040
Silver 698
Black 1269

For a total of 3057
numbers

From the source flows all knowledge.
Let us rejoice as we have been given the knowledge.

Steve thank you for your help.
This may be a dumb question, but.....Are the production numbers predetermined or is it partly based upon demand? If it is based upon demand is the a cap on the number they can produce? I'm curious as I just purchased an 05 and am wondering if the production numbers will be about the same as 04?

Thanks,
