Is there currently or on the horizon a modification for the shifter? Seems like it could be just alittle bit shorter throw. I find 6th gear alittle awkward at time to find. Thanks.

I believe BOOMER can hook you up with a Viper B&M Ripper shifter and a stick that he machines. Maybe PM him, or just wait 'til he sees this thread.

I've thought about it, but for now I'm undecided.

I have thrown it in 6th only once just to see if it was really there!!!! Now downshifting from 6th gear, that felt weird. Dont think I will see much of that gear on Maui.

Here is a post you might want to check out until something new comes out. - shifter mod - It won't make the shift any shorter but it does feel more solid.
