I Can't Take It Anymore!!

GOT to get the truck out tonight. I've been fighting it all day. It's sunny and 40ish here, but there is still some of the "salt dust" on the road so I was't sure if I should or not. But I just can't take it anymore. Wish me luck! and no, I don't need any comments from Hawaii, So Cal, Texas, or Australia :D I know it was sunny and 80 in all those places and your ass sweat was sticking to the seat.

Ass sweat, how ghosh. We don't sweat in So Cal "dude" Have fun in the beast though, I know about that withdrawal. Mine was down for some bed mods and I was driving the Lincoln, very boring
Jeff,I have sucessfully resisted the urge to drive it ..so far. ;)

I pulled mine out of storage the other day and let it warm up to operating temp. Man was that FUN! Then I pulled it back into storage. What a day. I didn't hear any lifter noise either!
If you return from your winter "salt drives" do not put a truck cover back on it (unless you wash it). I did this to my '98 Vette coupe and scratch the crap out of the sides of the new car.
I started mine this morning, let it run for 15 minutes, revved it a few times, rolled back and forth from 1st to reverse then shut the engine off and took my Pacifica to work :D

I know exactly how ya feel...rain up here in Wa....(don't want to wash the truck constantly), so i wait for the dry sunny or partly cloudy days.
went to go pick up the wife at the park and ride (car pool/bus stop),,,she got in..and I ACCIDENTLY laid a short strip of rubber....just accidentally i might add..
and lemme tell ya...it felt goooood! Put the truck back in the garage, wiped it down and am ready for the next nice day to get my 'fix' fixed...

D :D
