Or is Craig´s car the fastest RAM on the planet. Also is the car with the 800 or the 1000 hp kit streetable, i mean it is 800 horspower but when you are not hitting the gas it must be like a regular srt 10
Thank´s Kiddi

Well only Craig could truly tell you. But after he said his mileage inicator was reading around 2.9 MPG I wouldn't be taking any long trips in it. Stopping for a $50.00 fill up every 75-100 miles would get mighty expensive. But if you can afford the modification what the hell ya sure can afford the gas.

We drove Craig's truck from Dallas to Houston and got 18.3 mpg while beating down a 2004 E55 and 2005 C6 Corvette.

Kiddi - we have built 5 of the Venom 800 Twin Turbo Ram SRT10's. We have one Venom 1000 in production right now, but it wont be completed until Jan. or Feb., 2005. This is the only Venom 1000 Twin Turbo Ram SRT10 in existance. It has some pretty big turbos on it and we are expecting it to make close to 1000 rear wheel hp.

Hey there Kiddi,

The truck is very streetable. It is around 50f degrees here. It is an absolute blast to drive. I run with around 7psi of boost, if you drive normally the turbos barely kick in, as soon as you get on the gas (meaning a little more than 2K RPM) the turbo's start to kick it. If you ever ridden in a small aircraft, during takeoff, that is what my truck feels like, it will sink you into the back of your seat. It'll easily bury the speedometer :) It ROCKS! I'd highly recommend the automatic transmission if going with the venom 800 or 1000 package. The power distribution is even and smooth.

FYI. If you don't have a ram yet, I'd be willing to sell my Silver Bullet. Or alternately the RED Rocket one (it's already had the Stroker motor upgrade) which takes approx 3 weeks, and is ready/waiting for the twin turbo's, auto trans, and other goodies to be installed. PM me if you are interested in either. Both have 24 month/24K miles warranty from Hennessey and/or myself.

Man that thing should probably be in the high 9´s.
I have been watching your company since i saw a motor trend mag years ago with a black/gray striped wiper and have been very impressed with your work.

That is my truck.. I am a fairly in-experienced driver comparitively speaking. It is pretty easy to hit the rev limiter once the turbo's spool up. So yes, I would go with the Auto. In fact, I may ship the silver back and get the auto trans put in.

Reading this and realizing Craig is in Mt. Dora I need to make a mental note...

We live North of Gainesville and Fiance's family lives in Lake Mary. We take the back way down (so as to avoid turnpike, etc.) and go through the edge of Mt. Dora before turning off 41...IF I ever see a silver/black/red SRT 10 in that area I must remember to stay very far away and only smile and complement if it pulls up beside me...under no circumstances whatsoever will my foot go anywhere near the loud pedal... :D

I'd have to ask john, but they put a PowerGlide in one of their vipers that ran 8.9x in the 1/4th. I think that is the one.

HAHA. Funny you should ask. I borrowed a rusty screw driver from the tech that was working on my black one (getting the molding replaced), and punctured the side walls of the back two tires ;). I said damn, look at that. The manager just shook his head. I've got TWO brand new tires for the rear of it. Only cost me $115.00 total ;) Gotta love road hazard :) :) They pro-rate the tread wear. :)
