I did the 2/4 drop on my QC. The ride is just as good as stock, but the rear bottoms out on some bumps. The biggest issue is the alignment. I had to buy camber extensions from MOOG and install them on the upper control arms to realign the camber.
Lowering 2006 Quad Cab
Has anyone lowered there truck 1/2 or 1/3 without it having negative effects on the suspension or ride? How does it work in conjunction with the stock shocks? I have seen 2/4 and 2/5 lowering kits for the quad cab, but have also read about it impacting the ride, and having to add air bags in the rear to accommodate loads. I am considering lowering, but did not want to experience a lot of adverse affect. I am thanking You in advance for any and all informative advice. Cheers George
