Howdy all,

I am interested to know how the magna flow sounds compared to other brands.

I installed a mopar performance cat back exhaust on my viper last weekend and its is great but it has an annoying drone around 2800/3000rpm, almost gives me a headache. i find im now shifting through the gears more so it doesnt drone on me. dont get me wrong it sounds great when you punch it but im thinking about the sound when im cruising as well!

does anyone have any problems with the magna flow on their srt-10 ram?

I love my Magnaflow system, but I really don't know if it 'drones' or not at 3,000rpm's. Whenever I cruise at a steady speed I keep the RPM's down with 5th and 6th gears.

Unless, of course, this is what you're doing?

Curious here, about what speed is that?

My magnaflow does have noticable tone maybe not drone, didnt really notice at what particular rpm, but I like to hear the muffler talking to me. Isnt that what the 518 watt stereo if for??? drone out the drone??

Its all personal preference like art or chicks, of course some chicks are art!! usually not worth the price though

2nd/3rd gear in my viper at approx 3000rpms gives the drone i was talking about.

i like sitting in the lower gears usually but the noise its kinda annoying now (unless you give it a nice little squeeze!).
