Hey im interested in hearing your magnaflow system. Im in moreno valley, about 40 minutes or so from you.
Mofo, you're statement is not entirely true. You will not be receiving the first SRT production kit. I already have itMofo said:Hi Guys, We just tested the Magnaflow SRT-10 catback, as you know Magnaflow has a great reputation for makeing the best sounding and performing mufflers in the business. My truck will have the first production unit 5/6/04.They are made of Stainless Steel and a Patented packing.
The sound is incredible. They tried several of there systems and were not happy with the sound or performance. They designed a very special muffler only for the SRT-10. On there chasiss dyno the system picked up 13HP and a full 20lbs tq. That is at the rear wheels. My shop is in Costa Mesa (socal) if anybody wants to hear it. They have not set a price yet,but wiil soon. I will be a distributor and have an inventory. Mofo (949) 760-5070
Is there any noticable power gains?INTREPER said:Mofo, you're statement is not entirely true. You will not be receiving the first SRT production kit. I already have it![]()
Who is "we" in your statement? And how did you test it?
Let me tell you guys, that this kit is to die for! Every Viper guy i've run into has made the comment that they wished their Viper sounded like what the SRT does. One other cool thing about the exhaust is that its mellow at idle or cruising speed. But boy, when you open that throttle up, it sounds mean!!!![]()
More to come!
Sweet, I might be getting that system then. Ive always loved magnaflow, ive had there systems on two of my other trucks.INTREPER said:The butt DYNO says yes. Definitly. The DYNO gains MOFO posted seem lower than what I remember actually seeing in person. I think they were more down the line of 15 HP, 25TQ gains at the rear wheel.
I have not heard from Magnaflow on the production date.srt 10 black said:Is the release date of 5/6/04 accurate?
Anyone know of suspension kits available. Mine handles great but I'd like to get it a little more down and level in the back.
EXACTLY! i have thought the same thing01svtL said:Hopefully someone will make a system for you guys that will do tailpipes on both sides of the bumper . . .
