News Update,

During the last few weeks, the manufacture has been forced to delay all orders. Unfortunatly, these delays were a direct result of a major health concern with the manufacture. Fortunatly, he has recovered. The manufacturing/shipping departments are again up and running. They anticipate a return to full production capabilities immediatly. Recently, I received a promise to deliver any outstanding orders by the end of January,2005. Please accept my apology for any inconvenience these delays have caused. Glad to here the guys ok. Klaus said he talked to MOFO and they about to be shipped out. I know the last time early december MOFO said they were going to the coaters to be coated. Has anyone heard anything lately, everytime I try to call MOFO I seem to miss him.

14 days ago I got hold of him and he said : "to be shipped out soon", but my contact in Houston havent recieved anything yet and I can't get in contact with Larry - nobody answering the phone ...

My comment

fstjack - no offense but i would appear upward of +-$30k was collected for headers. Do you think MOFO himself might feel a little personal attention might be in order? Something more than "things are coming along".

I spoke with MOFO and he seemed like a great guy. I sent money. Last I spoke with him it appears he never got it so I ended up stopping payment on the check as lost....

I posted what I posted about the headers on my own. I have purchased many items from MOFO and everything has been above board and good. I am sorry I got in on this. I sent him a check for my Magnaflow exhaust in June of 04 and he did not get it. I like you put a stop payment on the check. I got the check, cover letter and the envelope back unopened in December of 04. The post office had stamped the envelope as no such address. It took 6 months to get it back and the envelope had the same address as the other checks I sent him. I am not waiting on anything from MOFO myself at this time so I should have kept my keyboard quiet and my opinion to myself. This is a good lesson for me to mind my own business. I hope you get the parts you are waiting for quickly........Jack

Not that anyone has ever needed my two cents on business. However regardless of how long you have been in business. EVERYONE will and does have trouble at one point or another. Whether it is financial, personal or otherwise that will cause the customer some grief. Either in loosing their money, their time, or other valuable resource.

To that extant, give Larry a little more time to explain and reply. I am pretty sure he will come through eventually.

Larry has treated me fairly. And in his defence, the manufacturer of the product is Ballenger Headers and they have been building headers for something like 50 years. So hang in there guys - I think Larry and Ballenger will come thru for you.

I can tell you this from our header building experiences for the Ram SRT - they are a lot of work to make.
