My fleet guy left me a message today saying the build date for the 2005 RC I have on order is tomorrow! Considering I only ordered it a few weeks ago I am a little surprised.... :D He said he was going to look at it again in a couple of days because even he thinks this is a little too quick!

Way to go Mike! Hopefully Gary is right and you have maybe 2 months at the most to wait for the Beast. I don't know though sometimes it takes a little longer to build because it's silver. The priority is on building the fastest color RED and the other colors follow after that. :D Droopy

Droopy, I believe you are misinformed here buddy!! I believe that the perfection that black requires takes longer, thus they must build these ones first. And since all the body panels must line up perfectly, the aerodynamics are improved on the black trucks, and once again, we know what that means... That's right, black is fastest! Sorry to rain on your parade! :D LOL

Congrats on the info Michael!! You will not be dissapointed with this truck one bit!!! Welcome!
Surprised again....

Fleet guy left another message for me again today saying the status shows it was being painted today???? Can they REALLY be getting that on a status report from the factory? If so, this sure beats the info FORD always gave out for my other toys!!
Hey Mike. Just talked to Gary and he said it should be in shipping status in 2-3 days now. Of course the shipping isn't to here but to Michigan for the drivetrain install. Let's hope for the best and it's correct. :)

Am I missing out on a joke or something? The drivetrain is installed in Mexico. Maybe I don't know what you're talking about.
Well. Maybe I'm misinformed but I was told that the SRT chassis is built in Mexico less drivetrain. That the drivetrain is put in at a plant in Michigan. I've had 3 people with Dodge tell me this. Who knows? They could be wrong. I know the yellow fever is finished in Michigan.. Just call me stupid! No wait, don't. Help somebody?
They're pulling your leg. I tracked my truck on the rails from Mexico to Houston.
That makes me mad! I'll have to talk to a couple of guys then... Thanks 9.
Well then.......maybe mine is going to arrive ALOT faster than I thought if it's not going through Michigan! I just hope it get's here after all the snow & salty roads.
I just talked to one of my sources and he said that he might be mistaking on how they are built. I stand corrected. I thought what was told to me was correct and now it must not be true! Oops! Sorry Mike. Droopy
Tracked mine

Mine got shipped from Mexico to Michigan to L.A. via rail then trucked to San Diego.
I had all the tracking info on mine all along the way. It was delayed for weeks in Michigan. I heard many reasons for the delay in Michigan but do not know if they were the truth. It sat on the rail car on a siding in L.A. for 2 1/2 weeks beacuse the rail car had a bad wheel and Union Pacific took their sweet time fixing it. I couldn't wait to get my hands on the truck, I has been 5 months since I have driven it and I can't wait to my hands on it again.......All good things take time..........Jack
yea all the srt 10s are built in mexico with mexican body panels (stamped right there in Mexico)

the v 10s are built then shipped to Mexico

all the rams ship from south of the border to Michigan them back to your dealer

i tried to get my yellow one dropped shipped but it had to go from michigan to the dealer then back to michigan (it sucked)

all yellow fevers are finished up in Michigan by ASC

Jamie
All very interesting. I guess there is no way to really know just how far out the delivery will be then?

Not all. Just those special edition ones. When they first came out I tracked several from Mexico to the dealers. None went to Michigan.

Sure there is. When your truck status is KZ it has been shipped. Ask your dealer for information on what the rail car number is. There are web site that can track it real time in Mexico and then through the US.
Thanks for the info!! I will give the dealer a call next Monday and see what they say. I don't want to be bothering them too much because they are selling it to me at a good price.
steve you are right i miss spoke

the yellow ones were shipped to Mi

the regular ones were shipped to the us then to the dealers

it just happened the 6 or so i tracked were for dealers in the great lakes areas
