Hey guys, looking at replacing my '03 F-150 for an '04 SRT-10. I was involved in an accident yesterday morning on my way to work and just going off my rental (a Hemi Ram QC 4x4), I like the exterior of the Ram, but the interior is kind of blan to me. So I stopped by a Dodge dealership in my area and saw an SRT-10. They let me take it for a test drive and WOW! My company has the DC Rewards Plan and their website doesn't reflect that the Ram SRT-10 is excluded from the plan just all the MBs, Viper, SRT-4, and the Crossfires. I think if I do get this truck and my wife lets me, I'd go with the Black (I'd like a Blue one, but it doesn't come in this color). I've seen 2 on the road, and I must say that this truck has diverted my attention from the Lightning. The only negative to this truck is that I wish it had a center console like the new F-150s and Titans, but oh well.

Welcome to the forum. I have had my SRT-10 for 3 weeks now finally broke the motor in so I can start launching this thing. If you do buy one you won't regret it. Just don't opt for the navigation system it's kinda lame.

Cool thanks for the info. I took my wife to see one through a dealership window last night and she said that she liked it. Her words, "Is that the 'Viper Truck'...That looks mean, I like it"

I know I couldn't believe how easy it was to drive it. I was expecting it to just lauch out of control with a tap of the foot or be "truck-like". I was really impressed.

Might be a month or two before I am able to get an SRT-10. I've decided that I like the Ram and my insurance will only go up $20/month. My claims adjustor told me that it would be about 3-4 weeks before I would hear if they were going to total out my truck. Good grief that's a LONG time!!! Plus the guy who left his 3 horses out in the road at 4am will have to pay for everything. I was at Gene Evans Ford's website pricing out certain parts to repair the truck. All I priced (what they showed on their website) was the Bumper (and all included parts), fog lights/assemblies (L/R), headlights/assemblies (L/R), parking lamps/assemblies (L/R), grille, grille cover (part that goes around grille and headlights), and the radiator cover and it came out to almost $3,000. Oh my gosh, I never knew that stuff was so expensive. Mind you I still need to add the engine, radiator, fan, fenders (L/R), hood, front windsheild, and all the parts in between.
