The suggested oem synthetic Mobil oil is a good one I have used. I have bought alot stuff from Viperstore or http://www.jtsvp.com/. And filters from local dealer when in stock…. Enjoy!

Stay with the oem viper filter. Oil is your preference.
Stock lifters are fast bleed to help pass emissions, thats the tick noise you probably hear. Bearing clearance chart says 0w40.
You can switch to slow bleed if the noise bothers you.
