Has anyone been pulled over or ticketed for exhaust violation (db level to high)? If so please state the exhaust used and the state you were ticketed in... Only asking bc i got a ticket for noise violation in ny for my sound system  !! i can only imagine from the sound clips ive heard that this may be a problem if i get an exhaust on my future ram.

I have never gotten a ticket with the truck but did get a warning on my Harley. I run Vance and Hines Straightshots, not much for mufflers. In most places a cop can give you a ticket for "Causing Excessive Noise" even with a legal exhaust system.

when you say sound system, sounds like your talking Stereo?
I know they have some new real B.S. laws all over about stereos but not so much on exhaust. here in MI. the Cities can set there own sound ordinances wherever they want, we have some that are (if you can hear the stereo from ten feet outside the car) it's a possible ticket.
PLEASE, I mean thats 1 parking space, you can hear a car idle at that distance but you won't get a ticket for it. last I knew exssive noise Exhaust was 90 db at 3,000 rpm around here
