Sugarland Express has it correct, as the basis for orders has to do with allocation. A Dealer that sells mainly cars, very few trucks, and no Vipers , will have a nearly impossible time getting a SRT-10 Ram. On the other hand , a Dealer that gets alot of trucks, and alot of Vipers will probably get a reasonable number. This issue of 1800 in the US is 99% just a rumor, as the only other place the trucks can go is Canada. In the past only 75-100 Vipers have gone to Canada, so the 100-150 SRT-10 Rams has alot of plausibility. The trucks are going for ridiculous figures all over the country, but we do not charge over sticker either. To put things into perspective, we have sold 4, have two more coming in this week ( tentatively ), and we sell a ton of trucks.
PS - Info for the Dealer in Alabama. Check your status on your Mamba, because if it isn't in D status, it will not be built. The build out scheduling is done, and all orders not in D status have gone to BE or cancelled. Hope this helps you out.
